There Are People Who Can Afford the Best
No guts, no glory, bitches (and also no money, sooooo)
A couple of things I thought would make you ***** today! 😈
(You can choose your own adventure on what you think I intended that word to be.)
These sick-ass photographers 📸 who come to you every 3 months to film content for your next 90 days—ON A SUBSCRIPTION PLAN. 🤯 I love this!
Remember we did a full-on analysis of subscription plans for service businesses, and how to start yours?! This is a perfect example. It’s an ongoing need, so they’ve built their business model accordingly.
Even better? Every session, they hook you up with 600-1000 images OR 130-150 B-roll videos—which is unheard of. Usually you get around 30 or 40 perfectly edited images and photographer keeps the rest. But, that doesn’t lend itself to the fast-paced reality of social media, right? This company got that. And, they adapted accordingly. Even if they’re not perfectly edited, this is the era of organic, unfiltered socials. Gone are the days when your IG feed needed to be perfectly curated with professional photography. And so this company is offering a fresh alternative that I think is fan-fucking-tastic. (And the subscription plan gives you another benefit: not having to constantly worry about it anymore. Whoever was in charge of this brand’s strategy knew what they were doing.)“The Money-Saving Garden Year.” 🏡
I’m always hounding you to try your best to create a high-concept package around your work—and this is a great example of that.
A lot of people post gardening content. 🪴 🧑🌾 🍂 How do you break through the noise? Answer: By committing to a specific lens. By packaging your work around that lens. (It doesn’t have to be forever, FYI. But it does need to be long enough to get you some traction so you can pivot into other areas later.)
Her lens? How to have a kick-ass garden at a fraction of the cost. What that’s done is given her work structure—and do you know how much easier it is to create content when you know what the theme is???
Bravo, Anya!
